For children
Gina is a place for stories, games, making things and learning. Ask your parent or carer to help with your family account and anything that costs money. Choose a nickname. Do not type your full name, school, address, phone number or secrets into a game or creation.
When you play, the service may remember your progress, choices and rewards. In a family account, your parent or carer can manage your profile and see relevant progress. A guest game may remember progress only on that device. Ask an adult before clearing browser data, because your local progress could disappear.
Gina and the other characters are fictional. They are not a real person watching over you. If something worries you, stop and tell a trusted adult. You do not have to buy anything to prove that you are doing well. Take breaks and play at a comfortable sound level. An adult can help contact us about your information or ask for it to be corrected or deleted.
1. The adult’s role
Family accounts and purchases are managed by an adult. Use the account only for children you are entitled to supervise and obtain any necessary authorisation from the person holding parental responsibility. Keep email sign-in codes or links and adult controls secure, choose suitable activities and supervise spending. Parental involvement complements our own duties; it does not transfer responsibility for our service’s privacy or safety compliance to you.
2. Minimum information and consent
Use a nickname and provide only information needed for the feature. Saved gameplay, preferences and creative work can still be personal data. We explain the relevant purpose and basis in the Privacy Policy. Where child-data processing relies on consent for a directly offered online service, Cyprus’s threshold is 14 and younger children require parental authorisation. Other applicable laws may differ. Adult account registration is not automatically sufficient proof of every required consent.
3. Purchases and rewards
Only an authorised adult may make a paid order. Review what is included, the currency, the amount, duration and whether access applies to a profile or family. Sparks are internal units, not cash or investments. Academy stars and game achievements are progress indicators and are not necessarily spendable Sparks. The Purchases and Refunds Policy explains cancellations, incorrect deductions and defective or missing content.
We do not treat a child’s click as an unlimited parental spending authorisation. Report an accidental or unauthorised purchase promptly so that we and, where appropriate, your payment provider can investigate. Statutory rights are preserved.
4. Privacy, sharing and creative work
Review any sharing or ranking feature before use and do not assume a nickname is anonymous. Do not include identifying details in stories, drawings, songs or support screenshots. A creation containing Gina assets is for the permitted personal use; it does not confer commercial rights in our characters or music. Our service licence does not authorise unrelated advertising use of a child’s work.
The ranking interface displays nicknames, ranks and gameplay scores. Use a nickname that does not identify the child. Star Explorers can use a manually selected city or browser-authorised location for its sky view; refusing device location does not prevent selection of a city. Ask us for help with profile information or a concern about its display.
5. Learning and wellbeing
Academy activities and other content support informal learning and entertainment. They do not replace school, professional teaching, medical advice or assessment. Adapt physical activities to the child and environment and supervise them. Progress does not measure a child’s worth or guarantee a particular result. Take regular breaks and stop activities that cause discomfort.
6. Managing information and reporting concerns
Contact privacy@ginaheartwing.com for access, correction, deletion or consent questions and support@ginaheartwing.com for account or purchase assistance. We may verify identity and parental authority proportionately and will consider the child’s own rights. Deleting a profile may remove its saved progress or creations; we will explain relevant consequences. A deletion request does not automatically waive a statutory refund right.
For a safety or inappropriate-content concern, tell support what happened and where. Do not send unnecessary sensitive information. This service is not monitored as an emergency channel. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency service.
