Questions & answers

Getting started

Where do we start?

Explore the app sections for adventures, stories, Gina Games, Wonder Worlds and creative activities. Free activities can be explored as a guest. For a family profile and server-saved progress, open the lock icon, sign in to your family account and choose the child who is playing.

Accounts & settings

How do we sign in?

Open the lock icon to visit your family account. Enter the parent email address to request a six-digit sign-in code, then enter that code on the sign-in page. The code expires after 10 minutes. If it does not arrive, check spam and that the email address is correct, then use Send a new code. Never share your sign-in code with support.

How do we choose or change a child profile?

Open the lock icon and go to Child profiles in your family account. Choose the child who is playing. Each child has their own nickname, saved progress and Sparks balance. Manage nicknames or add a profile in this section.

Can we continue on another device?

For signed-in play, progress is saved to the selected family profile when the server confirms the save. On another device, sign in to the same family account and choose the same child. Guest play is temporary and does not transfer to a family profile. If saved progress appears missing, contact support before replacing anything.

Sound & display

Where are the sound controls?

The app has separate sound-effects and background-music controls in its top bar. Some Wonder Worlds games also have their own sound button. Check both the app sound control and the game sound control. A game’s Pause menu pauses play.

Playing games

How do we find a game’s instructions?

Open Help inside the game to read its instructions. Many Wonder Worlds games pause while Help or a menu is open. Use the game’s Back or Resume button to return to play. Start with its gentler mode where offered and try the first stage together.

How does Heartwing’s Lantern Rescue work?

Tap two or more connected matching jewels to clear a path for the falling lanterns. A match of five or more creates a blast crystal; tap it to detonate it. Select a lantern and use the nudge buttons to steer it towards a glowing rescue gate. Hard impacts can break jewels and cracked ledges. Matches charge your tools. All lanterns must reach safety. Relaxed mode lets you explore without the challenge shadow. Open Help for the tool costs and controls.

Where are Moonlight Crush’s controls and modes?

Open Heartwing’s Moonlight Crush in Wonder Worlds. Its menus offer a choice of play mode, stage and world. After a completed stage, use Next stage, Choose stage or Worlds. Use the game’s own instructions for the current board’s objective.

Sparks & unlocks

Why did a completed game not award Sparks?

Only a server-confirmed award is added to the child’s spendable Sparks balance. A waiting period, daily reward limit or paused rewards can prevent an award. Guest play does not earn saved Sparks. Game points and collected objects are separate from spendable Sparks. If a reward is unconfirmed, check Sparks activity in the family account before retrying.

Where can we check our Sparks?

Open the lock icon, find the child’s profile and choose View Sparks. Sparks activity shows the child’s balance and recorded activity. For a question about a particular missing award, send support the game, approximate time and what the result message said. Do not include a sign-in code.

Are unlocked games shared by the family?

Content unlocks are shared by the family account. When using Sparks to unlock content, the Sparks are deducted from the child profile you select. Shop & unlocks in the family account shows the current catalogue and what each package includes. Collections cover their listed contents, not future releases.

Can a child play with no Sparks left?

Yes. Children can continue playing activities they already have access to when their Sparks balance is zero. Game mistakes do not take the balance below zero.

Playing games

How do we leave a Wonder Worlds game?

Use the game’s Worlds button to return to the Wonder Worlds selection. Use the app navigation to choose another section. If a control does not respond, tell support which game and device you were using.

Getting started

What do the suggested ages mean?

Suggested starting ages describe the skills needed to begin. They are guidance, not formal age ratings. Younger children may enjoy an activity with help, and later stages can become more challenging. Reading independently depends on the child’s reading ability.

Accounts & settings

Can we download our family data?

In the family account’s progress backup and recovery section, use Download family data & saved progress. This is an export, not an automatic restore file. Contact support before trying to replace missing progress. Old browser backups cannot be imported into a cloud profile’s Sparks wallet.
